Mr. K. Sashi Rao, is an Alumni of IIT Madras having completed B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) in 1969 and M.Tech (Industrial Management) in 1971. He has nearly 35 years rich industry experience working for various market leaders. Starting out in market research consultancy (with Indian Market Research Bureau-2+ years), he moved on to Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (6+ years) in their Planning and Development Division and was involved in corporate/business/diversification planning.
While in BASF India Ltd. (10 years), the leading German based chemical MNC as Head -Strategic Planning Division, he was responsible for all new projects and instrumental in their growth plans in India and developed their 2nd India site location at Mangalore. He has also handled marketing responsibilities for speciality plastics.
Later, he moved to the Ciba – Geigy group (the Swiss based chemical MNC) and performed various roles. These included heading a profit centre division, implementing some new projects and then held various Supply Chain Management responsibilities including Purchasing and Exports in their subsidiary company, Petro Araldite Private Ltd. engaged in epoxy resins manufacture at Chennai. He retired in December 2005 as the Commercial Head of this company (now part of Huntsman USA group) after a 15 + years tenure with the Ciba/Huntsman group. During this period, he acquired considerable experience in purchasing, imports and exports. Since his formal retirement, he is now a Consultant with Perform Solutions, his own sole proprietorship firm (along with his wife). While she focuses on Soft Skills Training and HR Consultancy, he is involved in Management Consultancy and Training in the areas of general management, supply chain management and marketing research.
He has handled training programs for several corporates in the fields of supply chain management and general management incorporating decision-making and team building.
He teaches SCM subjects at the Indian Institute of Materials Management Graduate (IIMM) Diploma Program and also at the Vel College MBA Program in Pallavaram. He is also external examiner in SCM at the CII Institute of Logistics. He is also into career guidance activities at his alma mater, the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and been on the Alumni Association Executive Committee for 2005-07. He is also Trustee of the IITM Club 1969 Trust, formed by his 1969 IIT Alumni batch which is engaged in rural development. In his role as the Chairman- EDP Programs at the IIMM, he has organized programs during 2007 on VAT and Service Tax; Packaging Cost Reduction Thro’ Value Engineering; and Effective Project Management.
Mr. Manjunath K, management and academic professional with more than 30 years of industry experience in Automotive, Engineering and Power sector industries. He is currently a management consultant to SMEs to enhance their competitiveness and business opportunities for next level growth. He is the former CEO of GE Triveni Ltd which is a JV between GE oil and gas and Triveni Turbines.
Mr. Manjunath has versatile functional experience in Business Management, Supply Chain & Project Management, Cost management, SAP, Inventory & Logistics management. He has worked with JUSE consultants Washio san, Tsuda san, Mihara san, Hirano san and Takao san for learning & implementing TQM, TPM, JIT and LEAN MFG.
He has previously worked with automotive companies like Automotive Axle, L& T McNeil Ltd, TVS Motors where he led the Supply Chain team.
Mr. Manohar KN, has over 32 years of working experience in various industry. 26 years in two-wheeler Industry and 6 years in oil Hydraulic elements and power pack manufacturer. He was the General Manager in TVS Motor Company for 6 years handling New Product Development. During this tenure two great Scooter Product “TVS Wego in 2010 and TVS Jupiter” in 2013 was launched.
He has worked with TVS Motor Company for about 20 years where his experience in New Product development is about 14 years and Purchase 6 years. This has earned very good market share and revenue to TVS Motor Company Limited.
Mr, Manohar worked as Project leader in bringing two product for women segment Scooty Pep+ & Scooty Streak and also upgraded product of Scooty 2S to new style of Scooty Teenz. He has worked as Purchase Manager both at TVS Motor Company, Bajaj Auto Limited-Aurangabad and as Purchase engineer in Yuken India for about 18 years.
Mr. Paachaippan.I, former Dy. General Manager (R & D) at Rane ( Madras) Ltd. Over his 40 years of experience in Rane Madras, he has served various functions such as Design Control, design change control, product development, product validation, VAVE etc. He has also supported major OEM’s such as TATA Motors, M&M, Ashok Leyland etc., in development of steering gear products based on vehicle application requirement.
Mr. R. Nagasubramanian, currently working as a functional consultant for Rane (Madras) ltd, technical consultant to Chennai Clamptech Designer for Productivity Improvements, technical advisor to Madras Industrial Product. Mr. Nagasubramanian, has over 36 years of Industrial experience.
Mr. R. Raghavendra Ravi, has more than 15 years of Industry experience in senior executive positions and 20 years of experience as a Management consultant and an Entrepreneur. He holds various positions – he is the owner of Pure Organic Industries a chemical manufacturing (Custom synthesis) company and the Principal Consultant at Technology Associates. He is also a Visiting Faculty at IIM Indore and IIM Lucknow where he teaches Business strategy, Supply chain management and Operations Management.
He also is an advisor to many midsized companies and helps them develop and implement long-term strategic business plans. He mentors owner managers and senior professionals providing them with insight into contemporary management practices.
Mr. Ravi has worked in a spectrum of functional areas like Manufacturing, Factory Management, Exports, Industrial Marketing, Business Development and New Product Development. Some of the organizations that he has worked for include Godrej Soaps, Ponds India (now part of Unilever), Core Parenterals Ltd and BTP India. He is also an External Board of Director of Indo Amines Ltd. and Hamilton Housewares P Ltd.
Mr. R. Seshadri, Executive Director in Shriram Venture Limited looking after operations of Shriram Distribution Services P Ltd (SDS). SDS operates in the food and allied products distribution space offering end to end solutions for the QSR segment.
Mr. Seshadri has been in the Supply Chain domain for over 20 years. He was earlier for a decade the Executive Director of TAKE Solutions Ltd a niche software firm specializing in supply chain and healthcare verticals.
Prior to joining TAKE in 2000, he headed the operations of SembCorp Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. He was part of the initial team that set up SembCorp in India in 1995. Within a span of 4 years, the organization grew to a Rs.810 million organization. His work experience also includes stints with State Bank of India, Southern Roadways Limited and Shaw Wallace.
Mr. Seshadri is a qualified Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary and holds associate membership in both the Institutes. He is a Graduate of Commerce from the Madras University. He is a faculty of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and also a certified trainer. Mr. Seshadri’s other interests include general reading and delivering guest lectures.
Mr. Sethuraman Viswanathan, Former Divisional Manager TAFE has over 38 years of experience in Production and Quality Assurance. He has experience and sound knowledge in the functional areas such as Quality Analysis, Production Control, Training & Mentoring and Customer Relationship Management.
Mr. Sundaram Mani, Executive Director Corporate, Super Auto Forge Private Ltd. He has more than 40 years of experience in operational and leadership roles across various supply chain functions.

Mr. TN Srinivasan, MBA from the University of Madras with four distinctions. Has over 40 years of Industrial Experience having worked in Enfield India Ltd., as Operations Manager for their Gear Blank, Carburettor and Spring Manufacturing Units. At Lucas-TVS Limited, handled key portfolios in the areas of Purchasing, Sub-Contracts, Imports and System Development.

Mr. TAB Barathi, Vice President, SCM, Wheels India Ltd., TVS group. He has worked in various industries for more than 30 years handling multiple functions and continuing a long tenure in Supply Chain Management. He initiated the concept of Aggregate Buying in TVS group and heading the TVS group’s consolidated buying practices.

He is also trained as a trainer for management topics under ‘Crestom International’, USA and continues as a trainer/faculty for various management institutions and industries.
